Franz Schubert's Piano Trio No. 2 in E-flat Major, Op. 100 is one of the last works composed by Schubert before his death in 1828. It's a massive piece, lasting roughly 50 minutes, and is written for piano, violin and cello. This excerpt is the part for solo cello, which offers a framework to explore phrasing throughout the trio's 4 movements.
