Launch Of New Platform Furthers tonebase’s Mission To Democratize Access To High-Quality Music Education
Since its founding in a Yale practice room in 2017, tonebase has been committed to democratizing access to the highest-quality music education, making it possible for passionate musicians everywhere to learn from the world’s most inspiring teachers.
As classically-trained conservatory musicians themselves, the founders of tonebase created the platform to overcome the limitations of traditional music education, where access to top-tier instruction was often reserved for a privileged few.
“We realized that most students around the world would never get to study with the incredible instructors we were fortunate to work with. tonebase was created to change that. With technology, we can bring world-class pedagogy directly to anyone with a connection and a desire to learn.”
tonebase Saxophone joins a growing family of instrument platforms including classical gutiar, piano, violin, cello, trumpet, flute, voice, and tons more – each featuring 1,000+ lessons, courses, and interviews from masters such as Emanuel Ax, Pepe Romero, Glenn Dicterow, Mischa Maisky, and Jasmine Choi. With the launch of saxophone, tonebase takes another step forward in fulfilling its mission.
