Caro mio ben

By

Anonymous

"Caro mio ben" ("My dear beloved") is an aria historically attributed to Giuseppe Giordani but is now often credited to his brother, Tommaso Giordani. This aria was composed for a London concert rather than an opera, reflecting the flourishing interest in Italian opera in London during the 1700s. It was likely published in 1782 by Preston Publishing.
